• The University of Tennessee College of Communications Radio Station Website Survey
Reginald E. Murphy,Ph.D., as part of his dissertation research and the Radio Research Group at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville has commenced a series of studies designed to find out why people visit radio station web sites and what is the relationship between visiting these sites and people's interaction with radio stations. This first project concentrated on the Rock and Classic Rock radio station web site visitor. Thirty (30) U.S. radio stations participated in the study by linking the on-line survey to their Web Site. The study collected responses from 1,752 people over a four week period (February 9, 1998 - March 8, 1998).
